Australia to Japan

Although Australia wasn’t quite the trip we’d all hoped for, it was still great to ride a winner aboard Black Run at Royal Randwick last Saturday.

Now back in Japan, I’m really excited to get going this weekend at Tokyo, with nine rides on Saturday and ten on Sunday. Things are already shaping up nicely with some promising bookings over the next few meetings, so hopefully I can make the most of every opportunity!

I’ll be based in Japan for the next several weeks before heading to Hong Kong for the International Meeting. Hollie’s had a brilliant start over there, already notching up a winner and keeping busy with nine rides booked for Saturday!

While it’s not ideal being in different countries, we both feel that the opportunities in Japan and Hong Kong are too good to pass up. It’s a challenge, but one we’re happy to take on for the sake of pushing our careers forward.
